I was thinking of taking my moms pistol one day to a gun smith for her as a gift and get it powder coated pink, assuming I have a job soon. She wants a pink gun, so I think one day I want to take her revolver and do it for her. Maybe even throw a skull or two on their, she has a big love for skulls. It’s either that… Or get her a lady AK-47 from Red Jacket one day…
Well anyway some feminist overheard me and thought it was sexist, and I said, “It’s sexist I know my mom loves skulls, red, pink, weapons, star gazer lilies, and more?”
Ugh Really feminists don’t jump into arguments you weren’t actually a part of…
Maybe as a Hanukkah gift.
This happened at college a week ago.

Ficus carica (the plants) makes a breathtaking display of aerial greenery filling the glass dome of what was once a chapel. Tradition has it that the dome was built round the tree.
see how plants can be amazing…

Many classic horror icons and other disturbing creatures share common characteristics. Pale skin, dark, sunken eyes, elongated faces, sharp teeth, and the like. These images inspire horror and revulsion in many, and with good reason. The characteristics shared by these faces are imprinted in the human mind.
Many things frighten humans instinctively. The fear is natural, and does not need to be reinforced in order to terrify. The fears are species-wide, stemming from dark times in the past when lightning could mean the burning of your tree home, predators could be hiding in the dark, heights could make poor footing lethal, and a spider or snake bite could mean certain death.
The question you have to ask yourself is this:
What happened, deep in the hidden eras before history began, that could effect the entire human race so evenly as to give the entire species a deep, instinctual, and lasting fear of pale beings with dark, sunken eyes, razor sharp teeth, and elongated faces?
… Just be careful out there.
This is one of the coolest things I have ever read on tumblr.
Well.
You know.
That’s how demons, vampires, werewolves, etc. have all basically been described.
So.
You know.
JUST TOSSING THAT OUT THERE.
Because they’re not as fake as everyone thinks :/. Well, actually just demons. I can’t say the same for vamps and wwolves.
It would be nice to be able to go swimming without being leered at by every man in the pool.
