It paves streets in New York City. It handles the roughest potholes in the known world with ease. And it’s electric. (Bonus: It also discretely sweeps hobos away to Jersey.) The batteries that are used in electric and even hybrid cars have a much higher carbon footprint than that of an old clunker’s lifetime of running. That includes my uncles 14 year old Isuzu truck.
